Rhode Island boy with terminal cancer has wish come true

R.I. — In Rhode Island, some residents came together Saturday to make the dream of a boy with terminal cancer come true.

Eight year old Dorian Murray has been battling a rare pediatric cancer for half his life. In January, after his doctors said his illness was terminal, his family brought him home.

One day, Dorian told them he’d like to be famous in China before he went to heaven and his family took to social media to try to make that happen. They used the hashtag #DStrong.

People all over the world, including China, have joined in to send Dorian messages of support. He’s even gotten responses from celebrities like Paula Abdul, Lance Bass, and Conan O’Brien.
