Medford city leaders reach out to residents

neighborhoodMedford, Ore. — There will be a heavy police presence near Midway and Merriman Roads Wednesday, but Medford residents need not worry!

Medford police, along with city leaders will be talking with residents in the area about concerns or issues in their neighborhood. From crime and vacant properties to broken street lights, city officials will try to address any neighborhood concerns.

“It’s the little inconveniences that may not rise to the level of them contacting the city to make a complaint about but it’s on their mind and they’ll tell us since we’re standing at their doorway,” Lt. Mike Budreau of the Medford Police Department says.

Questionnaires were previously mailed to residents and will be collected. Another operation care event will be held in Medford next April as they do this approximately every 6 months.
