Keizer, Ore. – A small earthquake stuck within 9 miles of Salem, Oregon Thursday morning.
The 3.0 magnitude quake hit approximately 5.5 miles from Keizer at 9:02 a.m. local time, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
As more data comes in, the official USGS magnitude estimation has fluctuated between 2.9 and 3.0.
The quake originated at a depth of around 7 miles.
