MEDFORD, Ore. – Saturday, June 9 is National Get Outdoors Day, and the U.S. Forest Service is making it easy to celebrate. For the day, fees will be waived at day-use recreation sites throughout Oregon.
This includes picnic areas, trailheads, visitor centers and boat launches.
Fees for camping and other permits still apply.
