Jackson County, Ore. — Runners from across the state are gearing up for a run unlike any other.
Participants in the Wild Rogue Relay will begin at Applegate Lake on Friday.
The teams of 12 will transition 36 times, each running 18 to 20 miles in 30 hours from the Applegate to Brookings.
The total course is around 220 miles in length.
Vans will travel alongside the runners, and transport the other team members when it’s their turn to rest.
