Armed robbery at Medford Subway restaurant

Update (03/21 5:42) — After a four-hour investigation, the Subway restaurant has re-opened. NBC5 News has learned that there was only one female worker in the store at the time of the robbery. No customers were present. Police say the suspect must have been surveying the restaurant before going inside, and appeared on surveillance video to be very calm.


 

Medford, Ore. – An armed robbery occurred at a Medford Subway restaurant Monday afternoon, police are still searching for the suspect.

According to Medford Police, the robbery occurred at the Subway restaurant located at 1250 Crater Lake Avenue around 2:00pm.

The suspect is described by police as a white man in his late 20s to early 30s, with blue eyes and blonde hair. He was wearing a black t-shirt, blue jeans, and had a bandana around his face. He was armed with a handgun at the time of the robbery. He was last seen northbound on Crater Lake Avenue.

Police are asking the public to contact them at 541-770-4783 with any information about this robbery.
