Ashland firefighters are tending to members of the community, but in a more relaxed environment by providing Thanksgiving dinner to 92 people.

Battalion Chief Dana Sallee who coordinated the event says his favorite part is sharing stories and spending time with the senior community.

“They’re the most appreciative group of people that I’ve ever met,” Sallee said.

Ashland’s Fire & Rescue put together 8 turkeys, 50 pounds of potatoes, and 20 pies to feed everyone at the 8th annual grand feast.
