ATM stolen from Rogue River pizzeria

1031-abbys-pizzaRogue River, Ore. – Rogue River Police are investigating after an ATM was stolen from Abby’s Pizza in Rogue River.

According to RRPD, officers responded to the restaurant at 121 Pine Street on Monday morning. An investigation revealed unknown suspects broke into Abby’s and stole an ATM that contained an undisclosed about of cash.

Some ATMs have a protection system that activates when the machine is kicked or broken. When triggered, the machine ‘paints’ the bills with permanent ink. Cash that was removed from the stolen machine would then be marked with the ink, identifying the bills as suspicious. If you see any bills that have unusual markings or dye stains, contact the Rogue River Police Department at (541) 582-4931.
