Bigfoot starring in ODOT crosswalk safety campaign

Portland, Ore. (KOIN/CNN) — Everyone has seen that famous grainy footage of what is believed to be Bigfoot walking around the woods. But not everyone has noticed how carefully he is walking.

It turns out Sasquatch is a stickler for safety, and he’s teamed up with the Oregon DOT to teach elementary students about crosswalk safety.

Bigfoot, a.k.a. Rodger Patterson with ODOT said, “I hope that if they’ll stop for me, they’ll stop for the little creatures on the road.”

It’s all to promote a dot video starring Bigfoot that will give kids guidance — and, let’s face it, probably nightmares.
