Witnesses say there were several fights and shoving matches between demonstrators and security guards.
Protesters were seen blocking trucks and vans that were trying to exit the property.
Witnesses say the vans were carrying replacement workers.
The employees at the plant are currently on strike.
They say they are seeking a fair contract and resolutions in disputes over wages, pensions, and overtime pay.
