Brie Malarkey will run as a Democrat for the House 55th District. The seat is currently held by Republican Mike McLane.
The Shady Cove resident owns Breeze Botanicals, which operates in both gold hill and Ashland.
According to the Secretary of State’s website, before running dispensaries, Malarkey was a dairy and hog farmer, and a home school teacher.
