Cave Junction, Ore. — A driver was hospitalized after their van went 200 yards down a mountain near the Oregon Caves Sunday night.
The Illinois Valley Fire District said multiple agencies responded to the crash on milepost 20 and found a van 200 yards down the mountain.
Crews set up a rope system to get the patient who was then brought to the top. The driver was then taken to the hospital.
So far, there has been no word on the driver’s condition.
