Ead’s Furniture & Appliance closing in August

Medford, Ore. —  After more than a century in business, a Medford furniture store is closing it’s doors for good in August.

Ead’s Furniture was opened first by the Ead’s brothers in 1900.

Their relatives still run the store today, and said closing the store is bittersweet. But with the economic trend in retail right now, it’s simply the best decision for their family.

“It’s been great. we appreciate our customers and it is going to be sad to lose that part of it. but this was just, this just made sense right now,” Trina Helfridge said, owner of Ead’s Furniture & Appliance.

While their furniture store may be closing down sometime next month, the family business will continue to live on through their storage and warehouse business.
