Fatal rollover crash near Bonanza

0928-bonanza-rolloverKlamath County, Ore. — Oregon State Police responded to a rollover crash on Highway 140E near Bonanza around 1:30 Tuesday afternoon.

Troopers said a Nissan Pathfinder was traveling eastbound when it went off the roadway while going around a corner. The driver hit the gravel shoulder and lost control, causing the Pathfinder to roll several times.

According to OSP, the driver, 26-year-old Bly resident Jessica S. Spiersch, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. Her 5-year-old daughter and 3-year-old son were also in the vehicle at the time of the crash. They were both buckled up in child seats and were not injured.
