Fatal rollover on I-5

SUNNY VALLEY, Ore. – Investigators are releasing more information about a fatal rollover crash on Interstate 5.

Oregon State Police said on evening, a Nissan Versa driven by 84-year-old Grants Pass resident George Kachigian was traveling northbound on I-5 between Wolf Creek and Grants Pass. At about 5:51 p.m., Kachigian lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the center median near milepost 71.

The Versa overturned and came to rest on the shoulder of I-5.
