Medford, Ore. — Firefighters rush to save a Medford family’s home Tuesday evening.
Multiple engines responded to a fire on the 1900 block of Orchard Home Drive just after 6:00 Tuesday evening.
Once on scene, crews could see smoke coming from the attic of the home and quickly got to work.
“First crew here took some tools, pulled some sheetrock ceiling out of the way and they did see flames in the attic and they used their pre-connected line off their engine to quickly knock down the fire,” explained Battalion Chief Kip Gray
Everyone inside was able to make it out safely.
Although the house was saved, the family will have to stay somewhere else for tonight.
The cause is under investigation.
