Florida braces for more flooding

NC_pascoflooding0809_1500x845Pasco County, Fla. (WFLA) — Florida residents are dealing with flooded streets in Pasco County after several inches of rain fell Monday morning.

Emergency crews had prepared over the weekend and pump trucks have been around the county, but more rain is on the way.

“We saw with some of the models we were going to get 11 to 15 inches of rain, so we knew we needed to get way ahead of that and it is paying off now because we are ahead of it and we only have a few neighborhoods that we’re seeing problems with right now,” Kevin Guthrie, Pasco Emergency Services, says.
