Layton, Utah (KSL) — An 18-year-old Subway employee has been arrested in Utah after putting meth and THC in a police officer’s drink Monday afternoon.
After taking just a couple sips of his drink, the officer instantly knew he got much more than he paid for. He had trouble maintaining focus and controlling his movements as he drove back to the station.
He had to be taken to the hospital and officers say the spiked drink is putting the whole department on edge.
“Our business causes us, a lot of us, to eat out every single meal, and so something like this is incredibly terrifying,” Sgt. Clint Bobrowski says.
