Hazel Dell, Wash. (KGW) — The popular new Pokemon Go app is getting gamers outside, but some people are finding the game leading them to unexpected discoveries.
In Washington, two young men were searching for pokemon in a field when instead, they found a loaded handgun.
They called 911 and waited for police to arrive.
Deputy Brian Wade said if children had found the gun, this story could have had a very different ending.
