Merlin, Ore. – One person was transported to the hospital after a head-on crash in Merlin Monday.
According to Rural Metro Fire, fire and ambulance crews responded to a crash and possible fire on Robertson Bridge Road around 11:30 Monday morning.
Firefighters said when crews arrived at the scene the vehicle occupants all initially denied transport by ambulance. One driver was eventually taken to the hospital as a precaution but it appeared that there were no serious injuries.
RMF said no fire was found as a result of the crash. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
