Shasta Lake, Calif. — History was made a the Shasta Dam this week. For the first time in nearly 2 decades water poured from the top most gates Wednesday. City Manager of the City of Shasta Lake John Duckett took this video which was shared with NBC5 News. Duckett’s footage shows the drum gates opening for the first time at the dam since 1998.
