Jacksonville, Ore., — A house fire in Jacksonville is getting quite the response on Facebook scanner pages.

Applegate Fire District says the two story house on Thompson Creek Road is a total loss.
Fire Captain Greg Gilbert says getting to the fire Saturday night around eleven, was extremely difficult.
“Engines were dealing with a lot of packed ice, and black ice, trying to get out there. It was a two story house so there’s layers of debris to try start sifting through.”
The two occupants in the house were not injured in the fire.
But after the pictures and video were posted on Facebook, over 200 comments have been posted to help the family – from clothes to food to shelter.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
