Medford, Ore., — A house fire in East Medford this morning left two homes damaged.
Medford Fire Rescue responded to a house around 3:30 am on the 2000 block of East Main Street.
The back was fully engulfed and neighbor Dennis Barr’s backyard was partially on fire as well.
“My wife woke me and the police woke me to get us out the house, and it’s the most frightening thing we have ever seen in the 44 years of living in our home.” said Dennis.
The Herron and Barr families were able to get out of their houses safely and unharmed.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
