Interior Sec. Ryan Zinke rides horse to first day of work

Washington, D.C. — Newly confirmed Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke got to work the old fashioned way—by horseback.

Sec. Zinke, who hails from of Montana and attended the University of Oregon in Eugene, was spotted on Washington D.C. streets Thursday morning riding a horse on his first day on the job.

NBC reports the Senate voted 68-31 Wednesday to confirm Zinke.

The former Navy Seal will oversee the department in charge of management of federal land and natural resources.
