Jacksonville steps back in time for Victorian Christmas

Jacksonville, Ore. — In Jacksonville this morning holiday festivities kicked off bright and early with the Victorian Christmas parade.

The parade began at 10 am traveling down California street.

People were also able to attend a Christmas bazaar. Kids were able to greet Father Christmas and the Jacksonville Trolley gave holiday rides through town. The historic Beekman House museum is also giving holiday themed tours now through the end of December.

Organizers say the Victorian Christmas celebration has been around for at least the past twenty years.
