NBC5 News took a camera up to the mountain, and sure enough, found a number of people enjoying the snow. There was plenty to do, from snow ball fights to sledding and building snowmen.
More snow is expected to fall in the next couple of days, and staff at Mt. Ashland say they’re hoping to open the lifts the second weekend of December.
Mt. Bachelor, Mt. Hood, Meadows, Timberline Lodge, and Anthony Lakes are all open this weekend.
