Leaders of Russia, South Korea: situation on Korean peninsula improving

Moscow, Russia (RTV/NBCNC) – The leaders of South Korea and Russia agree that the Kim-Trump summit earlier this month would contribute to denuclearization of the Korean peninsula.

South Korea’s Moon Jae-in visited Moscow Friday to boost bilateral economic ties.

During a news conference with Vladimir Putin, the Russian president acknowledged that the situation on the Korean peninsula was gradually improving.

He vowed that Moscow would also try to help settle problems concerning North Korea.
