Long lines formed this afternoon for the annual Ashland bike swap.
Visitors were able to choose from more than 300 bikes on sale this year.
The swap which is sponsored by the Ashland Parks and Recreation Department helps bring in money for bike safety education.
“We teach about 350 kids a year, bike safety, how to wear their helmets, changing lanes, all that important safety stuff you have to learn when you learn to ride a bike.”
The event was also sponsored by R.V.T.D., Jefferson Public Radio and the Ashland Fire and Transportation Commission.
