Art Along The Rogue Wraps Up

It was all about the art, food, and music.

Thousands came out to “Art Along the Rogue” this weekend.

The Grants Pass Festival is now in it’s eleventh year.

Organizers say it’s a great way to spotlight local artists, restaurants, and more.

“This event is really unusual in that usually there would be a street painting event, or a music festival– we’ve combined the two. So, that has become really popular, doing both,” said Jeff Jones, event organizer.

“Art Along the Rogue is one of those great events that highlights the culture of our community, brings people together, great art, great music, good food, and a great sense of community, and that’s whatI love about the event,” said John Bowen, Owner of Roux 26.

This year’s theme was “movie posters.”

Aouthwest 5th street was closed off for the event, both Saturday and Sunday.
