The Ashland city council is now adding tourism as it’s own category for a city grant program.
The city council voted unanimously last week on the issue– making tourism the fourth category in the grant program.
A subcommittee of the Ashland Citizens’ Budget Committee will meet in April to divide up nearly $200,000 in economic, cultural, sustainability and tourism grants.
