Akron, Ohio — (WKYC) Laura Zborowski is being called a hero after she sacrificed her life to save a student.
The 51-year-old school bus driver, was working on an evacuation drill with students outside Akron, Ohio’s Middlebury Academy at the time of the accident.
Police say Laura pushed a 10-year-old girl out of the way to safety, when the bus started rolling backwards. Moments later, she was struck and later died at the hospital.
