Calif. — People in California are conserving their water after state-wide water restrictions went into effect.
The restrictions started yesterday and effect different areas differently.
Among possible restrictions are yard watering limits, prohibiting watering on hard surfaces, watering ornamental grass on public medians and water outside 48 hours after rainfall.
