Central Point man offers reward for stolen tractor

Central Point, Ore. — A Central Point man is worried he’ll never see his expensive heavy equipment again after it was stolen from his property.

Nick Ford said he was shocked when he went outside Tuesday morning to find his driveway empty. It’s where he left his TC35 New Holland tractor and has for years.

“It was parked right here. There’s no loading tracks so they must have started it and hot wired it and drove it out of here, and it’s gone,” Ford said.

Equipped with a backhoe and a front end loader the tractor cost Ford around 25,000 dollars. Now he’s wondering if it will ever make it back home.

“That could be out on someone’s property. It may never be seen again,” he said.

Ford is now offering a 1,000 dollar reward to anyone who can lead him to his tractor. He said it was stolen sometime early Tuesday morning and currently has lawn tires on it.
