Crescent man arrested for use of stolen vehicle

MADENBACH FIRST MUG SHOTOre. — (KTVZ) A Crescent, Oregon man who was arrested during the standoff at the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge is in the Jackson County Jail facing federal charges.

Kenneth Madenbach was arrested by Oregon State Police for the use of a stolen refuge vehicle earlier this month. Madenbach may also face charges for violating a court order to stay off federal property.

He was originally booked at the Multnomah County Jail; however he was transported to Jackson County, and booked here locally on Thursday.

Madenbach is currently being held without bail, on federal charges and his hearing is scheduled for today.
