Family farmers in Southern Oregon celebrated a major victory with voters passing measure 15 -119 in Jackson County. At last check the measure had a 66% yes vote to ban genetically modified crops. The GMO crop ban also passed in Josephine County with a 58% yes vote. Josephine will have to challenge state law before they can move forward. NBC 5’s RaeAnn Christensen spoke with Elise Higley with Our Family Farms after their Tuesday night victory.
