Grants Pass, Ore. — It’s been 24 hours since a flaming truck plowed into a Grants Pass Business.
Today the owner us assessing the damage and his life, that was narrowly spared.
Around 5 p.m. yesterday, a driverless truck fully engulfed in flames plowed into Cartwright’s Deli on Beacon Drive in Grants Pass. It almost cost owner Jaime Cartwright his life.
Shattered windows and smoke damage is forcing Cartwright to throw out all his produce.
Police say the driver of the truck had a suspended license and was taken into custody.
Cartwright says they hope to be back open on Friday but full repairs could take months.
