Canyonville, Ore. — Douglas County authorities are on the lookout Thursday night for a man they say shot another man in the face in Canyonville.
Authorities say 39 year-old David Baumgaertel fired at least 3 shots into the car of a 23 year old man, hitting him in the face at least once Wednesday evening.
Police say the two men know each other. The victim was transported to Mercy Hospital. No word on his condition.
Witnesses say Baumgaertel took off in a 2001 red Honda Civic similar to one pictured above with a black hood and a skull painted on it.
Call police immediately if you have any information on his whereabouts. He should be considered armed and dangerous.
