UPDATE: No other bodies found on Susan Monica’s property

Rogue River, Ore.– Susan Monica’s Rogue River property has been a murder crime scene for nearly three weeks and the talk of the town.

“Makes me feel relieved that it’s pretty much over. But its kind of creepy. It makes you be like ‘what’s going on in the community'”

After an extensive search Jackson County Sheriff’s Deputies say no other bodies have been found on Monica’s 20-acre property.

Jackson County District Attorney Beth Heckert stated, “There were buildings to search, her residence to search, outbuildings and other things and so that’s what took the time.”

Police said Monica killed and dismembered Robert Haney’s body in September 2013. Monica was initially charged with identity theft for allegedly using Haney’s Oregon Trail card.

But while investigating that crime deputies said they found Haney’s body. And another body of a person they said she killed in August of 2012. That body has not yet been officially identified.

“That’s a process that will continue. That may take some time because it has to be done through their DNA or dental records,” said Heckert.

She said it’s just one part of the investigation that’s far from over.

Rogue River resident Louie Grosse said he feels like his neighborhood is safe once again.

Monica also had pigs on her property. Heckert said they wereeuthanized because it was the best decision.
