Eagle Point park flooded

Eagle Point, Ore.– Micki Scott from Eagle Point took pictures of debris and what looks like a fast flowing river Saturday at Harnish Wayside Park.

“I was like whoa scary it was scary because all of this was under water.”

It’s the aftermath of Friday’s rainfall.

Neighbor, Rick Fielder said the water line came too close to his house.

“I came home last night it was right here at the foundation of the wall you can see the debris line.”

And meteorologists expect rain to continue into next week. Which means Fielder could see another flood in his back yard. He said for now he’ll just keep an eye on things.

“If it should get really worse and we get a whole bunch more rain then I’d probably have to evacuate but I don’t anticipate that.”

Both Fielder and Scott said as long as the rain doesn’t cause much damage, they don’t mind.
