Medford, Ore. — Local vineyards are wrapping up the harvest season earlier than ever.
At Eden Valley Orchards in southeast Medford, the last grapes of the season were picked yesterday and sorted today.
The vineyard says while it will still be sometime before they can tell the taste of the grape, they do believe the hot summer did play an impact, in northern Oregon, some vineyards had a larger harvest than normal, says that was not the case for them because they tell their growers how much they need.
