For the first time since 1994, a solar eclipse happened Sunday.
In the Medford area, our very own photo-journalist, Jesse Zoller captured the sightsSunday night.
Thanks to welding goggles on his camera, he was able to capture theeclipsefrom Hornbrook, California.
The images were captured around 6:30 p.m.
Without sun-glasses, special goggles or a filter on your camera– all you would have noticed in the sky with your eyes is a really bright sun.
An eclipse is when the moon passes over the sun.
