Medford, Ore. — Southern Oregon’s only children’s therapy nursery is now under new leadership. Lisa O’Connor was recently appointed CEO of the Family Nurturing Center. The center caters to kids 0 to 5 who are recovering from abuse or neglect.
“It’s really about creating healthy, happy families that are attached,” O’Connor says “Making sure kids are ready for kindergarten and to make sure that we can help families with whatever crisis, whatever issue that they face that might be impeding their ability to have their kids be safe in their home.”
O’Connor says they are working to open a satellite nursery in Medford. If you’d like to learn more an event will be held Thursday, October 15th from 5 PM to 7PM at SkyOak Financial on N. Bartlett for people to learn more information about O’Connor and the Family Nurturing Center.
