Fire burns at least 40 acres in Cave Junction

CAVE JUNCTION, ORE. — Fire crews are on scene of a wildfire in Cave Junction that broke out nearKraussLane Saturday afternoon.

As of 7:45 pm, the fire had burned about 40 acres, and at one point 125 structures were threatened.

The fire is moving eastwards. Currently a helicopter and air tanker are helping assist with containment efforts.

All evacuation orders have been lifted.
