Fla. –A Florida State University quarterback has been arrested on a battery charge and dismissed from the team after an altercation with a woman at a bar in Tallahassee.
The scuffle involving De’Andre Johnson was caught on security video, which the state’s attorney made public.
Johnson was charged with the misdemeanor based on the video, which shows him tussling with the woman, then punching her in the face.
The freshman football player turned himself in last week after a warrant was issued.
