Former Oregon H.S. coach charged with sex crimes

Clackamas Co., Ore. — A former school football and wrestling coach is now facing child sexual abuse charges. Kenneth Carroll was captured in Montana and extradited to Oregon. Police say they’ve identified at least eight victims in two states– Oregon and Washington.

According to the Clackamas County District Attorney’s Office, Carroll was intentionally eluding authorities.

They say four victims have come forward so far, to say Carroll sexually abused them between 1997 and 2005.

Carroll was fired from the Colton School District in 1998 but authorities in Washington started investigating him in Puyallup– where he was a coach more than eight years ago.

They say they recovered thousands of pornographic images involving children.

Carroll is being held at the Clackamas County Jail. Bail is set at one million dollars.
