(NBC) The third time might be a charm, but the first two times hosting the Golden Globes went pretty well for Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.
“I think there should be a Hunger Games style thing, where we put people through challenges. To see who wants it the most,” Poehler says.
Less challenging will be finding targets for the hosts’ humor.
“Is the Hollywood Foreign Press off limits No, I think they have a good sense of humor about themselves,” Poehler says.
“A lot of them are sleep by the time the broadcast starts. A few of them are ghosts,” Fey jokingly adds.
Which raises the spectre of even higher spirits Sunday night.
The Golden Globes coverage starts with the red carpet pre-show Sunday at 7pm Eastern. The awards themselves get underway at 8.
