Greek Workers React to New Austerity Measures

Retired workers took to the streets of Athens, Greece today.

Hundreds protested near the Greek parliament building against new government austerity measures.

Unlike this weekend’s protests, today’s was relatively quiet.

The demonstration comes days after Greece approved a new round of austerity cuts.

The cuts were needed in order to secure an international bailout preventing the country from going bankrupt.
