Health officials warn about potential measles exposure

Seattle, Wash. –Health authorities in Washington are warning of a potential measles exposure at Seattle-Tacoma Airport.

Officials are investigating a case of measles in a traveler who was at the airport during their contagious period.

Health officials say the risk to the public is generally low due to people being vaccinated against the disease.

They say if travelers are not immune to measles they are mostly likely to become sick between September 13th and September 27th.

Measles is a highly contagious and potentially severe disease. In rare circumstances, it can be deadly.
