Our ‘horse of the month’ is a four year old quarter horse cross who’s ready for a new home.
Meet ‘Smoky’ – a young man with a great disposition, and a big heart.
“He’s a personable horse.” Notes Dawn Keen, of the Klamath Humane Society’s Large Animal Division. “He’s up in your face, wants to learn, and wants to play.”
Smoky was surrendered by a previous owner that could no longer care for him.
Keen notes Smoky will need some training and TLC…
“Green broke, has not had a saddle on him, we’re working with him on his ground work.”
Keen adds that Smoky has also got a thing for water…
“He’s a water horse. Anything of water he can find, he’s in it, or he’s playing in it.”
