The Jackson County Housing Authority is threatening the Medford City Council with a federal lawsuit over the proposed Cherry Creek Apartments.
The Jackson County Housing Authority says the council is discriminating against low-income families, after turning down the low-income housing project.
The city council voted against the 100-unit complex back in September, after a group of Medford residents protested the complex in their neighborhood.
